Assessment plays a crucial role in the Indonesian teaching process, and I observed that Muchild employs a mix of traditional and authentic assessment methods. One notable practice was how Ibu Ferra utilized a digital writing pad to guide students through step-by-step problem-solving in mathematics. This interactive approach allows students to grasp complex concepts at their own pace. Additionally, I observed that students were given ample time to solve problems—sometimes up to five minutes for a single question. While this encourages careful and deliberate thinking, it may pose challenges when trying to cover extensive content within a limited timeframe.

On the other hand, I was particularly impressed by how Muchild prioritizes authentic assessments, ensuring that students not only understand theoretical concepts but also apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios. Through engaging and hands-on assessments, students demonstrate their learning in meaningful ways that reinforces the idea that true understanding goes beyond rote memorization and extends to practical application.
