the challenges of practicum

One of the main challenges I faced was adjusting to the instructional pacing in Indonesia, which differed from the Philippine curriculum. For instance, the topic of Sets, which is introduced early in the Philippines, was scheduled much later in the academic year in Indonesia. This required me to recalibrate my expectations regarding students' prior knowledge. Another challenge was the language barrier, as some students were more comfortable communicating in Bahasa Indonesia. However, I addressed this by using visual aids and simplified English to ensure comprehension.
