Inspired by QS Al-Hasyr verse 18, SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta upholds the slogan "Religious, Creative, and Achieving" as a guiding principle for its students. Specialized Classes
Students can choose from four specialized tracks:
Language Class – focuses on multilingual proficiency, cultural immersion, and international exchanges.
Tahfidz Class – aims for Quran memorization (5 Juz upon graduation) through structured monitoring and religious activities.
ICT Class – equips students with digital literacy, multimedia skills, animation, and video editing.
Science & Technology Class – integrates hands-on experiments, mathematics, and technology for real-world applications.
A Regular Class option is also available, offering competitive academic and extracurricular programs.
