After a week of fulfilling my teaching internship responsibilities, I took Saturday as a well-deserved day of rest. Along with my fellow West Visayas State University (WVSU) exchange practice teachers, we went to SuperIndo to buy groceries for the upcoming week. It was our first time navigating the area on our own—a mix of excitement and nervousness—but the experience was both fun and empowering.

Later that evening, we joined our buddies and the Capiz State University (CapSU) exchange practice teachers for a visit to Alun-Alun Kidul, a vibrant night market in Yogyakarta. The atmosphere was lively, filled with lights, music, and the aroma of delicious street food.

It was a night of shared laughter, stories, and cultural discovery—one that made our stay here even more memorable.
