Today was the long-awaited day of our performance, where we danced before the school’s faculty, students, and even esteemed government officials. My heart pounded with anticipation, yet I wore a smile, savoring every moment of this experience. Instead of dwelling on nerves, I embraced the joy of the occasion. I once read an article that suggested reframing nervousness as excitement, as both emotions exist on the same spectrum. True enough, the moment I shifted my mindset, happiness took over. We performed a beautiful fusion of Filipino traditional and contemporary dances, celebrating the depth of our culture through movement.

After the performance, we eagerly awaited the afternoon’s excursion to MuseumKu Gerabah, a breathtaking gallery filled with artistry and history. We shared a delightful lunch with our cooperating teachers and the school’s headmaster, relishing both the food and the company. Once satisfied, we moved to a special room where we painted sculptures intricately carved into pots and animal figures. I chose a giraffe sculpture and, inspired by the giraffe Pokémon Girafarig, carefully selected its colors to bring it to life.

This day will forever be etched in my heart—not just as a memory, but as a feeling so immense that even a smile cannot fully contain the happiness it brings.
