Back home in the Philippines, Valentine’s Day is widely celebrated, but here in Indonesia, it feels like just another ordinary day. Despite this, Sir Vincent, one of the Filipino preservice teachers stationed at Muchild, made the occasion special by sharing pink-themed treats with us, bringing a touch of home to our celebration.

In the afternoon, I conducted an additional Mathematics class for Grade 8H through a fun and interactive game activity. This time, we played Jeopardy—a team-based competition that kept the students engaged while reinforcing their learning.

It was heartening to see their enthusiasm, and their strong English communication skills made the session smooth and enjoyable, allowing us to focus on both fun and learning.
