bringing pride wherever i set foot

As we prepared for our cultural dance presentation, we gathered in the school’s mushola (prayer room) to rehearse and refine our blocking. The spacious room required us to adjust our spacing and make our movements more expansive to ensure a well-coordinated performance.

A mix of nerves and excitement filled me as I thought about tomorrow’s presentation, especially knowing that esteemed Indonesian government guests would be in attendance.

Despite the pressure, I am eager to showcase the beauty and richness of Filipino dance culture, hoping to leave a lasting impression through our performance.
