As our Indonesian teaching internship journey nears its end, I requested Ibu Ferra to allow me to observe her class one last time. During the lesson, I had the opportunity to assist students in answering the activities she presented. It was truly heartwarming to witness their eagerness to learn from me. Despite the language barrier, their determination to understand and engage in the lesson was inspiring.

This experience deepened my appreciation for the beauty of mathematics—it transcends language and can be taught and learned beyond verbal communication. Through written expressions such as letters, symbols, and mathematical notation, I was able to bridge the gap and guide them toward understanding.

At that moment, I realized that learning is not confined to words alone; it is a shared effort between teacher and student, bound by curiosity and the universal language of numbers.
